Marilyn was administrative secretary and Dave had the heating and ventilation contract with the school division. He had to go by the office to get to the custodian’s room. She was a recent widow and he a recent widower. She invited him to join a bereavement group she belonged to “because he looked so sad”. They were married in 2004.
