Home Care

Home Care delivers a  range of services designed to provide ongoing support and assistance to individuals with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or age-related limitations in their own home. It includes help with daily activities, access to medical care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing.

Assisted
Living

Assisted living is a congregate living residential option that  includes services such as meals, housekeeping, and recreation activities fostering independence and social engagement.

Supportive Housing

Supportive housing is a  congregate living option offering 24 hour support and supervision  combined with on-site support services.  

Personal Care Home

Personal Care Homes provide access to 24 hour nursing and personal care  to individuals who can no longer manage independently at home with family support and community services.

ABOUT US

The Long Term & Continuing Care Association of Manitoba (LTCAM) is a non-profit organization representing over 10,000 elderly individuals and staff across Manitoba's care continuum. Established in 1959, LTCAM has grown to include non-profit and private Assisted Living, Supportive Housing, and Personal Care Home residences in all regional health authorities. Our website serves as a valuable tool to find the right care or home for your loved one. With over 60 years of experience, LTCAM is committed to enhancing the quality of care for long term and continuing care residents and clients. We collaborate with provincial care providers nationwide through the Canadian Association for Long Term Care, sharing evidence-based information and education to improve care throughout the province and Canada.
