Oakview Place Personal Care Home is located in the St. James area of the City of Winnipeg and offers accommodation, care and services to 245 Residents.

The goal of Oakview Place is to provide Resident-centred care through a team approach that fosters the individual’s right to privacy, dignity, safety, growth and independence. Our Resident-centered care includes a variety of disciplines including nursing, occupational, and physiotherapist, dietician, social worker, physicians, recreation staff and other support staff. Oakview Place strives to combat the loneliness, helplessness and boredom so prevalent in long term care today.

Oakview Place has been designed and is operated in such a way as to create a homelike and supportive atmosphere for the Residents, their families, team members and volunteers. Our environment enables Residents to exercise control and choice whenever and wherever possible. Even though our home has 3 floors, each neighbourhood is small enough to foster long last friendships.
