Located in Altona, Manitoba, The Gardens on Tenth is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing seniors with a welcoming community where they can age with dignity, independence, and support. Since opening in 1962, The Gardens has evolved into a comprehensive seniors' campus offering a continuum of housing and support services designed to meet changing needs throughout the aging journey.
Our campus includes four distinct residences that provide independent living, assisted living and supportive housing. By offering multiple levels of care within one community, we enable many seniors to remain in familiar surroundings while accessing additional services as their needs change.
The Gardens on Tenth works collaboratively with Home Care and community partners to deliver person-centered support that promotes safety, wellness, and quality of life. In addition to comfortable housing, residents have access to nutritious meal programs, life enrichment activities, housekeeping options, spiritual care, security services, and compassionate staff who are committed to creating a vibrant, caring environment.
Rooted in Christian values and guided by a volunteer Board of Directors representing local churches, The Gardens on Tenth remains committed to serving the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of seniors with respect, compassion, and excellence. Our mission is to provide the right balance of independence, services, and support so every resident can live with dignity and purpose.
