Honouring Our Elders Through Compassionate CareOur home was established with the belief that Elders deserve to remain connected to their families, community, language, and culture while receiving the care they need. We recognize that our Elders are the keepers of knowledge, traditions, and history. Their wisdom has shaped our Nation, and it is our privilege to provide care that honours their lifelong contributions. At Ochekwi Sipi Cree Nation Personal Care Home, we strive to create a welcoming environment where residents feel respected, valued, safe, and truly at home. We provide individualized, resident-centred care that supports each person's physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. Working collaboratively with families, community leadership, healthcare partners, and interdisciplinary professionals, we are dedicated to delivering quality care that reflects the unique values and traditions of Indigenous peoples while meeting provincial standards for long-term care. Our MissionTo provide compassionate, high-quality, resident-centred care that honours the dignity, independence, and cultural identity of every resident through respect, compassion, safety, and excellence. Our VisionTo be a leader in Indigenous long-term care by creating a home where Elders age with dignity, purpose, and respect while remaining connected to their culture, language, traditions, and community.
