Founded in 1915 by a dedicated group of Icelandic Lutheran women, Betel Home Foundation has been serving Manitoba seniors for more than a century. Today, we proudly operate two personal care homes in the Interlake-Eastern region—an 80-bed home in Gimli and a 91-bed home in Selkirk—providing high-quality, compassionate long-term care in welcoming, resident-focused environments.

Our vision, Providing Quality of Life Through Excellence in Care, guides everything we do. Our mission is to create homes where residents feel valued, connected, and supported through meaningful relationships with family, staff, volunteers, and the communities we serve.

At Betel Home Foundation, we believe every resident deserves to live with dignity, purpose, and respect. Our interdisciplinary teams work collaboratively to provide personalized care that supports each resident's physical, emotional,
social, and spiritual well-being. From engaging recreation and therapeutic programming to beautiful outdoor spaces, pastoral care, and strong family partnerships, we strive to create environments that truly feel like home.

Our values—Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Compassion—shape our culture and every interaction with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners. As a trusted not-for-profit organization and proud member of the Long
Term & Continuing Care Association of Manitoba, we remain committed to innovation, continuous quality improvement, and delivering exceptional care for the people who call Betel Home their home.
