MNPHA is the member-led driver of a thriving, sustainable, and empowered non-profit housing sector in Manitoba.We do this by:

1. Delivering quality services that enhance the resilience, viability, and growth of non-profit housing organizations.

2. Leading advocacy efforts for system, policy, and program improvements with governments, funders, and other stakeholders.

3. Supporting partnerships and initiatives that connect tenants to the resources they need to maintain stable housing.

4. Strengthening sector capacity through professional development, networking, mentorship, and knowledge exchange.

Guiding Principles

1. We are a membership organization. Our agenda is driven by our members’ concerns, needs, and aspirations.

3. We believe that safe, secure, and dignified housing is a human right, a social determinant of health, and essential to ending homelessness.

4. We are committed to ensuring that affordable housing is available in communities across Manitoba.

5. We honour the history of affordable housing in Manitoba by building on the sector’s strengths and celebrating the successes of our members.

6. We are guided by innovative, data-driven approaches that strengthen the financial viability of housing providers and the long-term sustainability of the non-profit housing sector.
