Overview of a Personal Care Home

A Personal Care Home (PCH) is sometimes referred to as a ‘Nursing Home’ where 24-hour Nursing care and services are on hand and provided by healthcare personnel in a secure environment 24 hours a day.  If you think a loved one is a good fit for this option, contact your regional health authority Home Care Program. If you unsure which health authority is in your area click here for our provincial map.  There are approximately 130 PCHs with just over 10,000 beds, in Manitoba
