Overlooking the beautiful landscape of Sioux Valley, Dakota Oyate Lodge is a 26 bed Level 1-4 Personal Care Home owned and operated by Sioux Valley Dakota Nation which serves as a home to those who require 24 hour care on a long term basis. The facility includes comfortable living and dining areas, a fully-equipped industrial kitchen, exercise equipment, WiFi access, an industrial laundry facility, hairdressing salon, outdoor gazebo, and transportation services. Cultural competence and patient centeredness are approaches to improving healthcare quality that are promoted extensively within the programming.
Sioux Valley Dakota Oyate Lodge first opened its doors for business in 1983, and will mark its 36th anniversary in October 2019.
