Statement of Intention:
Together, the Supportive Housing leadership is a cohesive group committed to providing quality services to residents. We work collaboratively towards a clear vision that achieves specific goals to bring about desired results. We share information, actively listen to each others' concerns and issues with trust and sincerity.
Families feel welcome and enjoy peace of mind, knowing that their loved one is respected, their individuality is acknowledged and their independence is encouraged. We partner with families and provide support or guidance based on our experience, to respond to changing physical and/or psychological needs, with integrity, understanding and respect.
As leaders in Supportive Housing in Manitoba, we provide a strong, unified voice, building the reputation, awareness and relationships of the industry as a whole. We stay current. We listen to stakeholders. We advocate on behalf of those who may benefit from the supportive housing environment to promote their quality of life. We lobby government to collaborate on changes and initiatives and bring forward innovative ideas and recommendations supported by the expertise of our owners and operators.
Through the Long Term and Continuing Care Association of Manitoba, (LTCAM) we provide consistency and structure for Supportive Housing members, now and into the future. The LTCAM Supportive Housing Network members monitor the sustainability and viability of Supportive Housing. We create and nurture our forecast statements and mission, vision and values.
