Lions Supportive Housing

Description:
Lions Supportive Housing consists of 36 suites, housed within a larger complex. Each floor provides a secure environment. The program offers a variety of daily leisure activities, including a minimum of a monthly outing.

All units have a lounge/activity area that promotes socialization.
Congregated dining areas have full kitchens, on site prepared meals are served 3 times daily for residents dining pleasures.

A specialized century tub is available with assistance provided by staff.  Additional services include access to hairdresser, foot care, Coffee Shop, religious services, generous common space, roof top garden, lab services, 24- hour security, and street and visitor parking.

Accommodation types available:
Bachelor Suites: Combines living and sleeping area with a private 3-piece bathroom.

Double Rooms Suites: Offers a living area and a bedroom with a private3 piece bathroom.

Also available is a 2 bedroom with a shared private bathroom, which may be appealing to a couple.

Year built: Lions Manor Supportive housing became the first demonstration project under Manitoba Health’s Supportive housing initiative in 1997.
   
Major renovation: Newly renovated unit completed December 2008, 12 suites and common areas were fully renovated.
